New Wilco album

This is okay, I guess, but even closer to the "dad rock" that SBS was accused of. But most of you are dads now anyway, so continue on.

My second time through and I'm definitely liking it better than the last two. SBS eventually grew on me a little but it's my least-favorite of theirs by far.

that t-shirt is kinda stupid.

The tee shirt is kinda lame. On Via Chicago, people were saying it would've been cool for the tee shirt to say, "Wilco (the tee-shirt)" on the front. As it stands, on the back it says "___________ (the fan)" and comes with iron on letters to put your name. Already there are people saying fans should wear the tees to concerts.

Some of the songs on SBS have grown on me and are some of my favorites of theirs but I haven't actually listened to that record in years. It just sounds like crap.

sounds like crap in terms of the production? I think the production is perfect. One of my favorite sounding albums of the decade.

I don't really like the album cover. Its OK I guess, but it doesn't fit with the rest of their catalog.

SBS has become my favorite Wilco album, but I do like this very much. I agree with the Summerteeth comparisons, but more in the vein of it being something of an SBS-Summerteeth hybrid.

I've pre-ordered the last 3 Wilco albums, and have been happy with their site each time. Always got the teeshirt package, but this shirt sucks so I think I'll just get the CD.
