Yeah, it's an oddly subdued way to start. It gets extremely cool once you get to "Who Makes Your Money" though, and then gets pretty awesome the rest of the way until they hit "Got Nuffin'", which still hasn't really settled with me. Then the last song brings the awesome again.

3rd listen...Its fucking great...Trouble Comes Running is definitely the favorite so far.

Yeah, I just poured a drink and put it on, I'm liking the first track right off the bat. The second isn't thrilling yet the last 30 seconds has me yanking. Track three on now and I'm still here and loving it.

And I'm not saying this to throw down a gauntlet but I didn't make it through Beach House this morning, and I had it on during a goddamn unbelievable sunrise.

Overall, I say it's pretty snappy and look forward to more plays. That's all I'm taking for now though.

First listen, and I like it. I'm not sure I'd say it's back to basics but the sound is more raw. Seems a lot more jaded in songwriting content than Gax5 as well.

My favorite tracks were "I Saw the Light" and "Trouble Comes Running."

on first listen... written in reverse... the one song i had heard.. really sticks out as the best. it's friggin awesome but i hope the others start to stick out soon.

gave this a proper listen in the car drive down to my fathers today. there's 4 decent tracks, and the rest just don't do anything for me.
