Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay was originally supposed to be a straight-to-dvd deal and probably should have stayed that way. Or I was not high and thus, didn't think it was that funny.

I'm pissed that Milk and Slumdog Millionaire still aren't playing anywhere near me this coming week.

It was awesome, I left right after the Beason/Fiennes scene with the "You take that back about my kids bein cunts" scene.

I gotta catch it again.

I didn't get to see it until it was out on DVD because it lasted about 5 minutes in local theaters here. Truly unfortunate. Certainly much better than the praise it didn't get upon release.

Yeah closest to me is towards DC.

I watched last night:

[img][403:500]http://i.models.com/oftheminute/images/2007/12/1.jpg[/img]

which is every bit as squirm-inducing as I expected it to be. They don't say it in the film other than that he has "developmental problems", but I read he has Asperbergers. His awkwardness and his pushing to be accepting is like any outcast teen, but unlike them, he seems to have an almost 6th sense about his ways and not to care.

Unfortunately though, the film is pretty much average. I really wasn't engaged, and felt like there was a little bit of abuse in a way on the part of the filmmaker. While I know the filmmaker meant no malice towards Billy, I feel like some viewers will watch this as they would a car wreck, more with morbid curiosity.

I finally saw The Dark Knight the other day. I disliked it almost as much as Batman Begins. Somewhere in the 3rd act, both movies have totally fallen apart for me.

I thought it was one of the better movies I 've seen in a while.

I, and three others, watched it "like we should have" and we still turned it off with 30 minutes remaining. And let me tell you, we have taste, baby.

I definitely enjoyed H&K Escape from Gitmo. Sure, I saw it 'the right way' but it was still enjoyed the times (yeah, you read that right - there's an s) I saw it straight. It's just a dopey movie. The cockmeat sandwich bit alone had me. What can I say, I like dick jokes.

Did anyone check out 'Stuck'? I'm thinking about renting it tonight and I've heard mixed things. I don't know how you can make an entire movie out of a guy being stuck to the front of a dumb woman's car and her freaking out, but I'm willing to find out.

it's pretty good when he's a drunken asshole but then the movie gets a conscience and ruins the whole thing.

The trailer for Gran Turino (http://www.thegrantorino.com/) makes it look like a parody.

Man, it gets pretty awesome towards the end. When he's beating up that little fat kid?

This looks like it could have HUGE potential for unintentional hilarity.

Saw Daytrippers between yesterday and today...not bad. One of those indies that I probably won't ever need to see again, but was pretty enjoyable besides the fact that it was cropped 4:3 instead of widescreen.

Quantum Of Solace

The Incredible Hulk

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

I LOVED Quantum, and seriously enjoyed Hulk and Indy. All were a good couple of hours spent.

Festival Express. Major yawn. And I'm so glad we're out of the hippy-dippy 70s. And it just reconfirmed once again how much I absolutely loathe Janis Joplin's voice/style/oeuvre.

Although Rick Danko is still hot in that film. Probably high as a kite, but hot nonetheless.

I watched this tonight after receiving it from Netflix yesterday. It was a little boring at the beginning and only slightly disturbing near the end. I really felt bad for the rather wealthy horse breeder and his wife when they had to watch the film the police found.

Uwe Boll consistently redefines terrible every time out. he may qualify as some kind of terrible genius.
