When I am hungover, its Saturday, and I can't watch it.

Once my go-to for gar mongering. A sad shadow of its former place in the pantheon of shite.

Agreed, this years a little harder to swallow than previous season. I will say that the relationship between Melinda and Danny has to be one of the worst on air courtships i've ever seen. I can't stand when episodes focus on those two. As for Danny, it's been said before, he's a trainwreck. Before the tragedy this kid was always moping around, fuck, i really thought i was going to hear Morrisey during one of thise episodes.

Another i thing i think this season has against it it the habitual drinking. I know this sort of behaviour has been the norm throughout the last few seasons, but the episode plots always seem to involve binge drinking at some club. I like all the inner-house drama.

Danny and Mel are gar, and BORING...a cardinal zin on this show. Danny as train wreck drunk would be awesome. I've played that character before, and if there were cameras following me I would be famous.

Wes just needs to go away. Him and everyone like him. Just horrible.

The weird chick and the spanish looking chick have nothing to add,

Nehemiah is probably a pretty cool brother, and his whole mom issues thing has some promise.

I find it rather amusing that they now have a Boston Guy in every season, knowing full well he'll get into a fight or two.

C.T. was from Boston, yes, but Brad (San Diego season's chief putz) was from Chicago, and Landon (Philadelphia season's nut-boy and jungle-fever victim) was our boy. [Looks at other Wisconsin native Obners (Papertiger, Back_space, Fickerson (I suppose)).]

Further, with each season, the tough-guy casting gets fagghier and fagghier. C.T. was all brawn, bull-shit, and beat-downs. Subsequent seasons have introduced more and more introspection into the role, though. At this point, then, I am half-expecting a pegging scene involving Melanie and Danny. The only thing that doesn't make it a guarantee, for me, is that Melanie would probably react to the suggestion with an "oh, God, that's just gross".

A shame, really... Sort of.

As it is, to spice this season up, we need more focus on Johanna - the little I've seen of RW:16 (is that right?) seems to have indicated that she's a bit of a slut, probably with issues (could be good for a Cara from Chicago storyline; granted, Chicago was a horrible season in that it was way blah, but there was still a spark there (and, no, it was not Tonya's "kidney-stones" nor "on-again-off-again" with her boyfriend in Walla Walla, Wash.)) - and Lacey needs to play more to her muck-raking casting as the new Jacquese while Nehemiah has a Teck Money moment or five in him begging to be let out.

Johanna, Lacey, and Nehemiah - you can save this season. Do it.

Oh, and Rachel, or whatever the fuck is the name of the Iraq vet - you're boring. Go home. Go back to Baghdad. Die or something for all I care. You'll be cooler in death than life, 'cause then you'll be a tragedy, and not the bathos you are now.

Is it any worse or is it that you get the same thing every season & eventually you just get sick of it? It's like Menudo, the members change, the fans change, but it's pretty much the same story over & over. Seems like people I know who got into it lasted 2 seasons, maybe 1 or 2 more seasons (me included Hawaii & New Orleans) & then just burnt out.
