Fans of the Oakland Anabolic's booing Palmero...... come on. I think fans in every city have the right to boo Palmero except the fans who benefited the most from steroids. If my closet includes a Canseco, Giambi or a McGwire jersey or I still feel proud of the '88, '89 & '90 AL champions & '89 World Series champion I shouldn't get the right to boo Palmero. Sorry. If the asterik can of worms gets opened up who's to say it doesn't include teams who had great playoff success with key multiple known/suspected users? Would Oakland have had all the success without Canseco & Big Mac on the juice?

I'm not defending Palmero here. And I'm not advocating the asteriks in the record books, I'm not sure how I feel about that yet & if it does get put into use I'm pretty sure I wouldn't want it extended to entire teams. I just think if there's a city that needs to keep quiet until this blows over it's Oakland.

however the whole point of view (which i dont totally agree with myself), is that while Giambi, Bonds, McGwire, Sosa, etc.. have all been accused of doing roids, and more then likely have been doig them...they werent doig them after baseball had made them illegal...or is they are, havent been caught yet...

Raffie was so obnoxious at those panels in March about how he never, did and never would do steroids, and he was insulted that anyone would make the assumption, pointing fingers in every direction.....then baseball declares it all illegal, and the guy gets busted.....on top of that, then he says he has no idea how it got in his system, until the drug world said that the type of steroid found in his body was not a kind from tainted food or pills....

So, I think his scenario is alot different then any of the other 'outed' players..

He keeps saying he can't weait to tell his side of the story...I cant imagine how many lawyers and people are writing this speech up for him....
