Those get regular rotation in my ride. Antichrist Superstar in particular is one of my favorite albums ever, especially from a production standpoint.

I think I have everything of his up to and including Mechanical Animals. His albums recently survived my selling of stuff I don't listen to anymore.

You should check out Holywood if you skipped it when it came out. I think it's one of his strongest releases. However, stay away from Golden Age Of Grotesque - it's probably his weakest album.

That fucker is from my old neighborhood. I used to go see his old band The Spooky Kids at this club called Squeeze.

He'd have young, 18 year old girls in cages. Rad.

Not too fond of his music to be honest, but his show was way entertaining.

I've actually listened to Mechanical Animals a few times recently. I think it's a pretty good album actually. I put on Antichrist Superstar on Friday, I think. It didn't thrill me too much. I've never heard anything else post-MA.

His songs are much better than his inflated opinion of himself and how elightened he thinks he is about how stupid other peoples belief structures are. Got nothing against his songs. Just don't like him. But he's not the first jerk to make good songs.

I can tell you're with Alice

Marilyn Manson is honestly one of my few favorite acts of the last 10-12 years. All of his albums are truly excellent, except for that piece of shit, Golden Age of Grotesque. Mechanical Animals is the best.

Musically, and strictly in that sense, Marilyn Manson has nothing to offer me.

And you can't convince me that his production values in the recording studio are anything but dogshit.

Although I can understand why his kitschiness appeals to many, although I think that it's so over the top that it makes Kiss look subtle.

I meant to say something much ruder about Manson and people who like his music (and yes i've been subjected to A.S. and M.A. in their entirety on numerous occasions), but i think i'm doing rather well considering that I haven't had a square in over a week.

Fight the power, Phil. I quit two years ago this month, and I'm quite thankful.

I liked Mechanical Animals and that Beautiful People song. Aside from that, I'd rather hear him speak than sing.

I can't stand to hear him speak. He's a manic depressive, hateful little shit who thinks contempt is an intellectual stance.

He writes fairly well, though.

Yeah sometimes. Most of the time he's just a deadpan smartass.

I appreesh. I think he is way over-rated, but he's still pretty good. I dig his production, but his songs are too theatrical (ditto My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult). But even so, he comes out with the occasional gem.

His covers are some of the greatest. And the videos don't suck.
