I think it was one of the Flower 10 shows that was the lengthiest Metro show I've ever attended - 5+ hours on a weeknight.

What show was that? They've done these before, right? I think I caught these in the past. I'm glad Jimmy Eat still plays smaller venues. They've played the Metro twice since Bleed American was released. Still a great live band.

I know at one of those Promise Ring was a special guest. I thought those guys were a fun band. Just good spirited power pop.

Is Pelican really worth the hype??

Nice! I was there! I really don't remember any of the other bands before Promise Ring, but I know Hey Mercedes used to open up for someone who I saw on a frequent basis back in '99 or whenever.

Any of you doing these shows? I'm super curious to see what other bands are added. I'm having trouble deciding who I must see and who I could miss. I'm thinking of doing both shows on Friday. Why not spend a Friday night at the Metro with horrible beer and dixie cup mixed drinks? Local H, Promise Ring, and whoever else is added would be awesome too. Shit.
