I could probably just squat on the toilet seat so I see no need for this silly thing.

Two-thirds of humanity
use the squatting position
to answer the call of nature.

In those cultures, appendicitis,
diverticulosis, hemorrhoids, colitis,
prostate disorders and colon cancer
are virtually unknown ...

rage, rage against the dying of the light

The problem with these is nobody can see your feet under the stall door, and this is an even more embarasing position to get startled in.

"I have no problems with elimination. Why should I use the squatting position?"

I have a mental image of a Goofus & Gallant sketch from Highlights when I ruminate on your image-posting.

"Goofus prepares himself for an early grave at the hands of the colon cancer by sitting on the toilet.

"Gallant demonstrates a life well lived, as re: evacuation, by squatting close to the floor."

I tried this at work today - the upside is you get to stretch your thigh muscles while doing your business. The downside is you have to completely remove your pants, or risk dropping a steamer into the folds of your dockers.

I guess i'm going to stay with the christian cheek-plant.

You're on a roll today, eh?

I would break my fool neck on this thing trying to spray mud after a night of wings & beer.
