Leaving out tmrw around noon for Bristol, Tennessee for a couple of races.

Dude, these are the night races at Bristol: a half mile shorttrack built into a mouintain valley bowl that basically turns into a demolition derby every year. Fisticuffs in the pits, 180,000 strong in the stands. Massive debauchery.

My crew: Captain Redneck, T.J. Hassler, and Hassler's brother Nicky 6.

Oh, this is gonna be good.

I'll definitely get pictures of the most frightening freaks that I can find and share them next week.

Goddamn I love the Bristol night race. That place is THE BEST place to see a race. Period.

I have to go to a wedding this weekend and can't believe I have to miss the race. One of the most important races of the season, both on entertainment and in the scheme of the actual point standings this year, and I have to miss it.

At least it's someone from back home and up north. I can't imagine someone down south scheduling a wedding that conflicts with the Bristol night race. That's just ridiculous.

I think Utah has that rule - if the bar is wet, the stripper has to keep her panties on and wear pasties; if the bar only serves juice and soda, it's all fair game.

I used to live in Northern NJ. We used to do the Bristol trip with a bus tour. It's really the only way to do it and be comfortable. You'll see...it's the most insane parking scenario I've ever seen at a track. Granted, I've only been at Dover & Pocono, but even from the TV aerial shots, it looks the most ridiculous.

Be safe and may Stewart win another one. (That last part is just for me...sorry if you hate him)

My family & I spent a couple of nights in Knoxville, Tennessee, on our way down south.

Great mountain air and fun pubs/restaurants. Definitely different for canadians, like us.

Sounds like these debauched races will be a gas.

when i was in tampa in 2004 i had to go across the street to the wet bar and get drunk and then back across to the punanny show.
