Hey, all. I know I've been lurking rather than posting much on this board, but for the folks I know, me and the missus have sold our apartment, quit our jobs, and hightailed it out of New York. We were just tired and ready to slow our roll a little.

We will eventually relocate to Austin in January, but for now, we're gonna spend the fall doing some global wandering. I bought 2 around the world tickets with some apt. sale proceeds, so we're heading to Europe, Asia, and Australia beginning on 9/6.

Just wanted to say that while they've fizzled of late, I had a great time at all of the CMJ/Obner BB happy hours with Lemur, Katie, Dov, Lemming, OPA, Haq, and guests like FT and Marco. I'm sure I'll see you guys down the road...

Oh, and one other thing...we're gonna try to blog our trip (at least occasionally), so I'll post a link at some point in case any of you guys want to see what we're up to this fall.

Anyhow, thanks again, guys. Even though I'm not posting much, I'm always reading your opinions on the new releases. I'll be back in late January and will be more active then... now I'm gonna go hunt like crazy for fall releases for my iPod since I won't be able to DL until December!

What kind of job do you initially have to have to be able to pull off a 4 month caper like that?

I'm insanely jealous. Take lots of pictures. Be sure to take pictures of good food too, you can only look at so many cathedrals and monasteries.
