I voted.

Good to see Criminal Records listed in best independent retail stores category.

The album of the year list was a little limited but still a good reminder that a lot of good shit has come out this year.

I voted too, just cause Stu said so...

They really need a write in section, cause some of the choices sucked.

Obviously, i didn't even vote in the hip hop category, and there was some other stuff lacking as well.

I'll second the shout for Criminal, even though their collective clerkdom had never even heard of Ike Reilly.

Choices weren't bad, but limited. Still feels good to vote for something that has some artists I actually listen to involved.

I decided to vote against TVOTR for a lot of categories, mainly because they've ben recognized in other places.

Funny, I was thinking the opposite, except for Ted Leo (limited) Interpol (Occasional) and Arcade Fire (all the time)

No Drive-by-goddam-Truckers, not a real contest.

Actually, I'd have picked different for nearly ever category, except maybe my Liars choice, if I could do a write-in.

What's sad is that CMJ (the magazine or the site) are not good enough for a nomination in the Best Magazine & Best Site Awards. How low have the mighty fallen.
