Smoking a whole chicken basted in olive oil and rubbed in fresh garlic, sea salt, paprika, black pepper, curry powder, and a little bit of fresh herbs, most of which ended up being stuffed in the chicken. Herbs stuffed in the chicken include basil, rosemary, thyme, sage, parsley, cascabela peppers, and poblano peppers.

It's browning nicely. I wish i had a camera.

O.k., your turn.

-Phil

probably go out or eat a sandwich. we have no groceries in the house and I hate cooking - plus wife is out tonight for some work thing.

Thank you.

i like eating to much to not like cooking. I think that's what it comes down to, and why alot of those really awesome t.v. chefs are wide as houses.

Where are thinking of going out to? Going by yourself or with buddies?

While this clucker is slow cooking, i'm seriously thinking about making some bacon and eggs...

i really like food but can't stand cooking - i like to pay others to cook food for me, though.

may go out with a friend or just grab some take out...perhaps a burrito or something.

damn...why couldn't you have asked this last night when we made up some homemade pesto with the basil from our garden. first time we've ever done that...it's pretty easy and damn tasty.

tonight, heading over to some friends for dinner, not sure what they've planned.

Pasta salad that I made before coming to work. I threw in some chicken pieces and veggies with a dash of crumbled blue cheese.

I'm eating now as I have close the store tonight.

How long does that usually take? It sounds delicious. I've always wanted a smoker for ribs.

I'm just doing plain old bbq chicken as my parents are driving in from Ontario and aren't hugely adventurous when it comes to cuisine.

Geez, I dunno, we have been trying to decide this for the last hour, I think we'll go out, but the specials for downstairs are
Seafood Puttanesca over linguini (fresh lobster, shrimp, imported scallops)
Trio of seafood crepes hand made pasta crepes stuffed with three cheeses, basil and seafoods, topped with marinara
Italian sausage, peppers and onions sauted together in olive oil and topped with a bit of feta over penne
I think it will be slow so I doubt I will have to work much, its low season, after all.

buen provecho

One would have to assume it's a pie with a Saskatoon berry filling. Those are sour little motherfuckers.

Perhaps that explains my increasing bitterness.

I dragged myself to the deli.

Fresh turkey on a roll with swiss cheese, tomato, honey mustard, and salt and pepper...

guacamole doritos

coke zero.

edamame later for a snack.
