OK, not the best pictures in the world, but this is a wee fucking beauty! I won't say what kind it is right now, it can be a little quiz for you guitar experts, but if I had the pick of the worlds guitars this would be mine.

What would your's be? Preferably with photo.

Looks like a 12-string Harmony, although it looks too pretty to be a Harmony (they are generally pretty cheap guitars). Still.. that thing fucking rules!

But this is my dream guitar:

Vintage Telecaster:

Or vintage Rickenbacker:

I think Fender Jazzmasters are pretty sharp.

but for Angus's sake, the SG always kicks ass.

I'd like a 1960 or 1961 Fender Jazz Bass, the only two years they made stack knobs. Also the first two years they made the J Bass. Something about those basses are unreal.

Now if i could just swing 33K

My own guitar may not look like much, but it's pretty magical.
Just ask anyone who's played it.

There's a picture of me with it in my Personal Gallery.
I tried to post it in this post, but it won't work, for some reason.
Anyhoo... my Strat does, indeed rule.

(openly sobbing) I had to turn off images, because I'm only able to go online at school. And THIS is when a guitar pictorial thread comes up?!? Why must you torture me so?

Favorite guitar that I have is a sunburst '98 Tele Plus with 3 pickups. Maple neck, good action, Broadcaster in the bridge and the original chrome cover lace sensors in middle and neck spots. Honorable mention to the other tele,a lake placid blue '89 Am Std with texas specials. Low-low action, plenty of balls, but with character. Sounds good for any occasion.

Dream guitars?

- Vintage 50's Gretsch Country Gentleman in 2-tone money green.
- '62 Tele with rosewood neck on olympic white body.
- late 60's Les Paul Special with the mini NY humbuckers.
- Steve Cropper's magic tele that went down into Lake Monona here in Madison (along with Otis Redding).

By the way my guitar was a 1968 Framus 12 string.

Probably an SG. They're the most versatile guitars out there for some odd reason. I'm very happy with what I can accomplish with my Rickenbacker 660, but there's a roundness that comes with all Ricks (bass and gtr) that I could do without at times (yes, I know that's part of the Rick sound). Anyhow, here's me playing said guitar. Yay guitars.

Or whatever custom model Joey Santiago was playing when I saw the Pixies earlier this month. That thing sounded pristine.

I never seem to personally have any success with Jazzmasters, but I love what Tweedy and Adam Franklin (Swervedriver) can do with them...they seem like awfully versatile guitars when used by those 2.

That purple Rogue Aluminator that Lil Kim was holding on that magazine cover. (I'm actually not that far off, I have a silver one.)
