Me too. It's an album I always go back to. Alot of my favourite songs on there now are the ones that weren't as immediate - 'Space & Time', 'Velvet Morning' etc.

hey cool man. I have to admit though, I probably havent listened to this record in maybe two years. But I've been rearranging my apt. a little over this weekend, and as I'm taking CDs out of books and back into jackets, I'm pulling out a lot of stuff I havent listened to in a while.

But yeah, Urban Hymns is a great one--but is actually my only Verve record. I'll probably have to rectify that in the future.

Sure, if you don't mind. I know I've made a big deal about not listening to albums before they come out, but it would be stupid to wait until February to hear this when the rest of the world is listening to it right now.

So this disc is good? I got it from BMG a year or two ago along with like 12 other releases at the same time, and I listened to "The Drugs Won't Work" about 50 times, while the rest of the album seemed good but not interesting enough to get used to. I think I may try to find it and put it on right now.

I gave you the link so you could download it! I don't know why you didn't then. :(

'The Drugs Don't Work' used to be my favourite on there when i bought it. The album isn't good to listen to at all times, but when you're in the right mood it's great. Also, if you like 'Drugs' the best on that album, download 'History' and 'On My Own' (from A Northern Soul). They are very similar in style.
