I bailed out saturday, but not cos of the Hurricane. I just came over to SE Alabama to have dinner with my dad. I didn't know this bitch had become a Cat 5 until I saw Dalen's post, so now I am freaking out about the possibility oif losing all my meager possessions.

Gotta keep it in perspective, as many people are losing life and limb.

Haven't heard anything from oldbulee, but I saw Houma on TV last night taking an asswipping at about 11pm. Hope all is well with you, man, and Stop Breathin, and whoever else is out there,.

Good to see ya Loog.
According to CNN.com, Katrina hit land as "only" a Cat. 4 - 135 mph sustained winds. Still... mothafuk.

Glad to see that you're safe.
Hope to see more of you check in soon.

I am in Enterprise, which is about 150-200 miles away...you wouldn't know a hurricane was anywhere near us.

I just saw Campbell Brown (i fuh) on MSNBC in Houma, looks like whatever happened there, happened.

I'm glad you're okay, Dave. Hurricane can take even the most Gar.

Media keep focusing on New Orleans, but east of that looks to be REALLY bad off.
