I'm looking at you Billy G!!!

There's a new designer that started here -- Indian -- and she listens to a lot of Bollywood music. I asked her about Asha Bhosle (who I only knew of because of Cornershop's "Brim Full Of Asha") and she's gonna bring some music in for me this week sometime.

Any of y'all know any of the stuff?
Impressions?

Just curious.

Kronos Quartet and Ashla just had a release come out on Nonesuch, I'm hoping to pick it up today.

That soundtrack to Monsoon Wedding was surprisingly good. I can recommend that.

the follow-up is pretty good too, but it's got kid koala, mixmaster mike and others instead of shadow & automator.

Listening to an Asha Bhosle comp now and there was some song she did with, it sounded like a dub reggae guy. It was fucking cool!

It's a burn though, with no track listing, so I have no idea what the hell the song is called.
