NMR: What's the trick? (Ipod related)

Yeah yeah, maybe we should have our own Ipod forum..

SO i got a bunch of cd's I wanna put on my ipod, but unfort, itunes nor my computer are recognizing them...

Whats the trick to override the copy protection? Shift Key when I put in the CD? F9 and Ctrl-Alt?

Exact Audio Copy will usually rip protected discs, especially if you use this older version:

edit: Make sure you use the Manual TOC feature:

Menu: Action -> Detect TOC Manually

Also, the new Our Lady Peace is a DualDisc so you might be out of luck. Many PC drives don't recognize them because of the way they're manufactured.

i bought the regular version of OLP....im d/l'ing them both right now as well

I have never had a problem using musicmatch. Its free and you can always import the songs into itunes later. Or mediamonkey, since it allows you to convert formats.
