if i was still on windows, i would be using winamp 2. but, since im not, for linux i use xmms, which is basically an open source clone of winamp 2, or on os x, i use itunes, since theres nothing else thats really decent for mac.

its become the opposite of what it started out as, a lightweight mp3 player. its slow, it tries to do a lot of what it doesnt need to do, like play video and rip and burn cds, and ive had problems with its stability.
