Is it possible that I've never heard this version before??? Neil somehow astrally improves already one of my favourite of his songs. Sounds like he's playing in a dropped tuning with a capo, and with the background singing, and the atmospherics, and the holy shit this is fucking amazing, my life begins anew.

That' the only version I've ever heard. Was it released on something else? Live Rust maybe?

Do you have the "Chrome Dreams" version or something? I think I've got that, but I haven't listened to it yet.

Anyway, yeah, great song, and maybe the best part of Rust Never Sleeps.

The ratio of the amount of music (street-teaming inclusive) : amount of shit I talk here is high : low, thank you very much.

And on further listen, I've got to say this whole record is insanely well-produced for a live album. It's a little too slick in some points, but they really made this glisten and growl as necessary.

I've heard the "Chrome Dreams" and "Unplugged" versions.

It is a great album, isn't it? It's never been my 'go to' Crazy Horse album, so I'm always shocked at how much I enjoy it when I throw it on. Did you see E-Fu's post on Hip Displeasure? You should check it out.

Agreed. A lot of Neil albums are like that: "Ragged Glory", "Silver & Gold", "Prairie Fart".

I have not seen E-Fool's post. I'll seek it out.
