by the New Pornographers? Most reviews I've seen have basically called this track a throwaway, but I really enjoy it. Am I alone in these sentiments?

I like the song and funny enough when I first read the track listing I thought it might be a cover of the Bruce Springsteen song.

Dan Hartman
No more timing each tear that falls from my eyes
I'm not hiding the remedy to cure this old heart of mine

CHORUS:

I can dream about you
If I can't hold you tonight
I can dream about you
You know how to hold me just right

REPEAT CHORUS

Moving sidewalks, I don't see under my feet
Climbing up from down here below where the streets see
me lonely for you.

CHORUS

I can dream about you
I'm gonna press my lips against you and hold you tight to me
I can dream about you
You know you got me spellbound what else can it be

Moving sidewalks, I don't see under my feet
Climbing up from the pain in my heart 'cause it's you that I need.

I don't understand it
I can't keep my mind off loving you
Ooo, now baby, I'm caught up in the magic I see in you
There's one thing to do

That's what I thought this thread was going to be about.

I used to have the soundtrack. I always liked it. Movie too.

So did I, isn't that Dan Hartman song "I Can Dream About You" on this one?

I thiought this was about the Springsteen song.

Aww, there is it. I still remember the video.

Now let's all talk about Hard to Hold.

And don't forget Markie Post's Hearts Afire. I think that it ran either right before or after Evening Shade on Monday evenings.

I don't recall what she looked like?

But, I do remember that the daughters on Major Dad looked like they should grow into something fiercely beautiful.

But, if they adapted Night Court for the cinema, couldn't you see Her Royal Highness interpreting Roz's part?

You must remember, she did Beauty Shop.

(Yeah, it was her vehicle, but it still made celluloid poo.)

(Though it isn't Are We There Yet? bad, either.)

(For that, Cube has no excuse.)
