Anyone want before and after pictures? I also filmed the process of peeling my surgical skin glue off of the incision. It was painful but worth it, now i'm not as insecure about the incision spot. Also I can probably use it as an art project.

Has anyone gotten surgery where this was put on the spot to replace stitches? It's actually really nice. It's just like a thin layer of tape that goes over your incision and keeps it closed and begins peeling, which is quite disgusting then because it looks like your skin is peeling off.

I need to upload it to my computer but I definitely will post the video as soon as possible. Will pictures be okay until then? It looks so much better, besides the bruises you can't really tell I had surgery!

you are going to make me throw up.

maybe i should post the video of my knee surgery. it shows them drilling dozens of holes into my femur, cutting out a crap load of torn up cartilege, and other fun things.

that sounds pretty disgusting.

my surgery wasn't as bad, then again i've only had surgery three times in my life (yet all of them have been in the last fucking year)
but this was the least painful of them all. skinglue and everything.

Oh well, before and after pictures are on my flickr. But wouldn't pictures IN the thread make the thread much more fun?

Let me know if you want them posted![/img]

i spent the afternoon resizing and formatting pictures of botched boob jobs and perineum surgery, including one where a guy's ball is poking out of his asshole.

May I be nosy and ask what the surgery was for?

Appendectomy. Ouch.

Glad to hear you're getting better. BTW, I like that "Sea Of Grief" painting you did. Nice work.

I honestly don't know what pain medication they put me on while in the hospital (after the surgery), but I know they put me on demerol instead of morphine before surgery this time because last summer I supposedly got belligerent when morphine was in my system. As for pain killers I get to take home, it's always percocets.

Not so into pain killers, though. I like not feeling pain, but I don't know, the type doesn't really matter to me because I wouldn't take them if I wasn't in any form of pain.

But I will sell them to underclassmen at my school.

You just wait. i'll start posting pictures of my flaking scab that aren't on my flickr. Let me see if I can get the video up, that made me queasy watching it over again.. it just looks like i'm peeling my skin off, even though it didnt bleed when I peeled the glue off.

Not so into pain killers, though.

I had vicodin last year when I had my gallbladder out, and that crap is nasty. I stopped taking it when the pain wasn't excruciating because it made me feel like I'd put my head inside a very loud piano and someone was relentlessly banging away as hard as they could at the lowest register of keys. I really don't get how anyone could find any pleasure from taking that stuff recreationally. But maybe it's just me, I don't even drink, so maybe my system's just not prepared for the effects of drugs or something. Caffeine (in soda) is as hard as I get.

Yeah percocets just made me really sleepy and lightheaded. I remember talking about my surgery with a girl at school, and this is why I hate high school the most.. she started talking about taking percocets and how she started hallucinating and shit. That's not even a fucking side effect, or i'm pretty damn sure it's not. I hate when people exaggerate the effects of a pain killer, drug, drink, anything.
I know i'm too young to anyways, but I don't drink either. I could easily drink if I wanted to, but it doesn't make me feel good and I just don't care for it.
I would never take pain killers recreationally, I just think it's pretty dumb. I doubt i'll drink much when i'm older, either. but one thing I have grown to like is pot. I only would smoke when it's convenient, which is once or twice a month. Other than that nothing appeals to me.

I bet having your gallbladder taken out hurt like hell. I have only had three operations, one was supposedly exactly like a C-section (so i'm prepared for child birth if I have to get one of those!) but nothing i've had sounds nearly as bad as that.
