I'd been going to bed later and later each night, with 4:30 being my average conk out time. Finally, Wednesday night, I go to bed at 4:45 and can't sleep. Next thing I know, I glance over at the clock and it's 6 a.m. So I just said fuck it and got up. Went to bed at 1 am that night, thinking I'd sleep a normal seven or eight hours, be up around 8 or 9. That's a decent time to wake up for someone with no job and nowhere to go.

I still slept until 2 pm, clocking in 13 hours of sleep. So of course, going on 13 hours of sleep, it's now 5:45 in the morning and I'm not tired. Fuck it. What am I supposed to do? This screen is burning my eyes and my hands are numb from four hours of video games. I have nothing to read and the thought of watch tv gives me a headache.

Ughhh....

Do the same thing, only this time, on the second night, go to bed at 7PM. You'll wake up at 8AM, everything will be honky dory.

Now, the trick is, to do this for two weeks straight (I don't mean skipping on the sleep, I mean getting up at 8AM), and then you'll be fine. It's called "biorhythms" -- yours are fucked up.

Ah, yes - The Circadian Rhythm...

Which is yet to be the name of a band on Saddle Creek. Should be soon, though, assuming no other band has snatched it up.

It just seems that the phrase could be interpreted as very precious.

As it is, I think that most indie artists would be dissuaded from using Circadian Rhythm as a band-name since it has a similar ring as the Circulatory System (E6 project?).

The only good band name to come out of a Medical textbook is SubArachnoid Space (it's an area between brain and skull btw).

I think Amygdala would make a good name for a metal band with proggish or indie tendencies.

I love to sleep, but find myself awake as well, and in the mood to clean.

Is that where that came from? I thought it was the area under raised houses where the arachnids dwelled.

Cool.

I was recently looking at the TC Electronics site, and saw the phrase "Hooked on Powercore" -- which, had TC Electronics not trademarked the name (I think they did), would ha' been a cool band name.

I haven't slept the last two nights. I start Uni today so that's probably the reason.

sub·a·rach·noid space (sb-rknoid)
n.

The space between the arachnoid membrane and pia mater; that is filled with cerebrospinal fluid and contains the large blood vessels that supply the brain and spinal cord.
