Just got back from the festival, did anyone else end up going? No hurricane effect at all but man it was hot! I think it hit 100 or close every day and it was 104 the last day. Even more amazing was the amount of dust kicked up by 80,000 people during the day. By the time Coldplay went on to finish the festival I could barely breath. I'm still coughing up dirt.

In spite of all that, it was a great time. I'll give a little review of each band I saw later, when I have more time. Right now I'll just say that Archade Fire, Black Keys, Split Lip Rayfield, Deceberists and Walkmen were probably tops on my list for the weekend.

This actually solves the mystery phone call I rec'd from big bro the other night. I could only make out 'Coldplay' from the message, so I thought that pretty much gave me license to delete it.

Glad you had a good time & didn't melt. I attended ACL II and vowed never to go again. It should be held in November.
