That's fine, Dov. As long as it's an on-time 8:30... ;)

From the bottom of my heart, f the remaining dates on this tour hit somewhere near you, you should go....

The first opener we caught , LADYHAWK was great. They have their debut record coming out in the Spring.

Blood Meridian were tremendous. and Black Mountain was everything I expected em to be...... Well with the exception of two of the Blood Meridian members also playing with em...But I knew that....

dude, blood meridian play for 40 minutes.....well worth it....

and if it helps,, the singer of BM plays bass for Black Mountain, and they also share the same drummer.....

the bands are incestuous.......great time guaranteed.

I totally agree. I enjoyed the show quite a bit. Songs sounded great live especially 'No Hits' which was the performance of the night.

Also, Dov failed to mention the highlight of the evening: Me being rude to the female singer of Black Mountain. Only I didn't know she was the lead singer at the time.

I think I might check them out. This place is surprisingly getting it's fair share of bands through.

what'd you do to her?

they were enjoyable and the lead guitar playing was pretty awesome.

edit: i also liked that all of them, except the keyboardist, sang.

Female singer? I thought that was a dude...vox always reminded me of Clinic, for some reason...

It wasn't nearly as bad...

She came out and did back up on one of Blood Meridian's songs, but all she did wa swhistle a bit during the solo....

SO, we kind of picked on her about what a waste it was for her to go on stage...like, why bother??

but then she 'killed' during Black Mountain, so we both laughed it off.
