Is it too early for George Steinbrenner and/or John Henry to file a protest with the league?

I don't see why the Sox should give a toss about those two over-hyped teams of over-paid fucks.

Obviously. But The Boss and Henry are dueling for title of whiner non pareil among the MLB ownership.

So, I cannot expect either is happy with Ozzie's starting nine for game one of this season-ending series. And that makes me happy.

Go Indians.

Since I'd rather see a Steinbrenner tantrum than a John Henry tantrum, I'll say, Go Sox (to the division crown).

But, otherwise, Indians all the way.

And, if I'm not going to get a reprise of the '97 Series - Marlins having been eliminated from NL wild-card contention - then how 'bout a renewal of '95?

Oh, yeah, and this just in -

Wells still has it.

Pitching wins championships... let's hope our is this good next week. It is stone quiet in C-Town. That was as bad a performance in a must-win situation since Starks in Game 7. Brutal.

I'm rootin' for the Tribe here, but I laughed hard when Gload got the winning hit after his shout-out in this thread.

If the Yankees or the Sawx get the Wild Card, are Cleveland fans gonna complain about The Curse Of The Obnino?

I was really rooting for Cleveland too...I don't care that much that Boston made the playoffs but I really would have preferred to have the Yankees play the White Sox in the first round rather than the Angels.

It would have been either the Angels or Red Sox vs. the Sox in the first round either way, jeenus.

I meant Indians, not White Sox. You spelled genius wrong, genius.
