The only point of reference I have was their inclusion in that shitty flick called "9 Songs." I'm probably seeing them tomorrow in Houston.

Exactly. I saw 'em on the tour for their first album, & they were good but ridiculously LOUD. Not the most exciting band to see live, but musically it's really good.

But seriously - they were probably close to twice as loud as they needed to be. I saw them at a 300 capacity bar that was maybe 2/3 full, & they played at 2000-seater volume levels.
