I've decided that the new franz kicks ass and actually kicks the crap out of the debut. It just sounds better.

Predictable.

Actually I was gonna start a fresh thread about this album myself. We got two long loud listens in the truck this wknd and this fucker is just plain badass.

They dont reinvent the wheel or anything but they are definitely good at what they do.

that's how I feel about FF - I never want to listen to the whole album but when I hear one of their songs, I enjoy em.

Did you just turn this into a Foo Fighters thread?

I'll give it a chance. Their debut was a good start.

I like singles bands. There aren't enough (or any) bands making great singles these days.

I find the new album to be completely forgettable, literally. I've listened to it several times, and none of it has stuck like the first one did. It's not awful, but it just doesn't do it for me.
