First let me say that all we have is major chains like Best Buy, Circut City, and Sam Goody. So I guess the Walton's have already won.

So I went to Best Buy at lunch to pick up Broken Social Scene and Franz Ferdinand. Well they had about 50 copies of BSS, and zero Ferdinand. Didn't stock any. It just seems to me that you would stock Franz Ferdinand before BSS at a store like Best Buy.

Anyway, on first listen Broken Social Scene underwhelmed. I really loved You Forgot it, but so far everything else has stunk.

just got back from Best Buy.

they had a ton of FF and BSS. 2 girls were there, and they had both in their hands as well. i winked, and slowly opened my fly.

I went to Best Buy on my lunch break and they were well stocked on everything. I didn't buy anything though since I intended to get everything via trade ins.

my best buy had 5 million franz ferdinands at $13.99 (???), didn't even have a section for broken social scene, and mmj was on order and "will probably be there in a few days or something".

FUCK BEST BUY.

The Best Buy I went to also had a bunch of Broken Social Scene albums and a damn good deal too for $9.99 with the bonus EP. I also picked up "Apologies To The Queen Mary" by Wolf Parade there and on the shelf by it there was a card that read "If you like Modest Mouse, you'll like Wolf Parade" or some variation. I have found that Best Buy seems to surprise me when it comes to certain releases.
