So, uh, what do you play?

I believe we lean heavily towards bassists. I might be wrong. So weigh in.

I play bass, but also play guitar, drums, piano, strings, winds, and trombone.

Hey Katie, i got 9 options in this poll. I think aaron is trying to rein you in.

I play guitar, mainly.
Although I have also played bass in bands and dabbled with the 5-string banjo.

Guitar.

Although I can play a wicked 4/4 beat on the drums as long as I don't have to play any fills.

The only fill I know is the one where I just hit each drum twice and move to the right starting at the snare and end hitting the crash cymbal. RAWK!

Oh yeah.....and skin flute.

i play the fool!

let's see, at 13-ish, started playing guitar as an outlet away from playing saxophone in the school band, which sucked. "got serious" about the whole guitar thing a few years later and even took a few years of composition classes, which did nothing for me.

started playing the drums around 17 out of necessity, as the band i was in had a drummer who preferred being a frontman. after 2 months of that, the guy singing who was a much better drummer than myself returned to the kit, and i returned to guitar.

played bass for a bit out of necessity, but now i'm back where i rightfully belong, fumbling my way around the fretboard as a guitarist.

I should have put "some combination" but then that would have been a lie.

I can still remember how to play the piano some. I experiment with it now that we have Josh's keys in our living room.

But I played the Clarinet, the Viola, and the drums from 2nd grade through JR High in the school bands. None of which I recall AT all how to play.

yeah really. if moby read this poll he'd write some sullen drivel in his online diary (about how the computer's not seen as a real instrument).

actually, wasn't it johnny greenwood (or thom) that said that the laptop is the new guitar?

and is it spelled drivVel?

:?:

Guitar- but sadly don't pick it up very often anymore.

Drums- I love playing them, but I'm not very good. It's the whole drum-fills thing.

If you need genuinely ugly guitar playing, you know where I can be reached.
You all play too purty.
