I went last night, she rocked, they rocked. They played prolly everything off "Z" mixed in with some past classics. I have not enjoyed a show that much in a while. The really rock out live, turning some of their sleepier songs into monster guitar jams. Everybody GO CHECK THEM OUT.

And get their early to see Kathleen, she's got a great band, and she rocks for a chick.

Just for future reference, I always want to go, or going.

Rodney -- do you have her 2nd album? All I have is The Failer and I fucking love it.

yeah I like the 2nd album - it's not much different but it has a few really good tunes. I would say I like her first album better overall.

I'm going tomorrow night in Nashville. Can't wait. I got a similar report from my friend who was at the show last night. He said most of the crowd wasn't feeling the stuff off "Z", probably because they haven't heard it. And in the Atl., it was probably mostly frippies who think MMJ is the 2nd coming of Widespread Panic. Am I right?

Can't wait. I'm seeing MMJ in Toronto.

Kathleen Edwards rocks, indeed. Furthermore, she's Canadian. Hope she spices things up for the hometown crowd.

Cheers,

audiobill

That seems like a tremendously-odd-but-still-able-to-work combo. Then again, didn't MMJ open for Beth Orton when you saw them last?
