Okay, she's singing. I don't care.

This is the most generic tripe I've heard since I stopped listening to the radio. Her vocals are actually bordering on sounding like Melisssa Etheridge. Her wardrobe's straight out of Evanescence's wardrobe and her million dollar makeup still can't make her look any less like a troll.

The lyrics are something like "Is anybody out there? Does anybody see me?" etc. etc. and the chorus is "who's gonna catch me when I fall?". Good lord.

I can't feign surprise. It's Jessica Jr. What was I expecting? But ratings or not, they should not have invited her back. Nobody should be doing their part to help market this crap. It's 2005. The heyday of the Backstreet Boys and the Britneys is past. Give up the ghost.

You insult Melissa Etheridge when you make that comparison. I personally think Ms Etheridge is highly talented. Ashlee Simpson can lick my dog's shit.

Are you suggesting that we throw Ashlee Simpson underneath the bus of death?

actually it's not...sad but true. mainstream music really hasn't changed. except now we have added bands like fall out boy / my chemical romance to the mix.

Ashlee Simpson = (((Avril Lavigne X Paris Hilton) + Gwen Stefani) / Christina Aguilera) - Jessica Simpson + (Rachel Dratch's body)^3

edit: and the Black Eyed Peas skit was humorous.

Yeah I'm with you on this one tania. I actually like a lot of Melissa's very first recordings.

To compare Ashlee to her is a serious insult.

Actually Josh and I had the same thought while watching her second time around, she's like a D grade Gwen Stefani. She soooo wants to be Gwen it's scary. Right down to makeup, hair and wardrobe.

And as Josh said at one point" she is SO white. She's the whitest white girl ever". lol the dancing was THAT bad.

WHY did they have her back on, sheesh.

Other then that, comments on show: John Heder was funny and Amy Poehler did an awesome job of carrying that show tonight. Well aside from weekend update. Which sucked.

who the hell would watch SNL anyway? The few post-Ferrel episodes that have filtered down to here have sucked more than all of Molly Shannon's sketches put together.

Enlighten us then. What´s funny? Other than your buddy taking one in the nuggets from a grounder on a bad bounce. ´Cause the whole universe knows that´s funny.

as long as "arrested development" is on the brink of cancellation while "blue collar comedy" is alive and kicking, i'm kind of inclined to agree.

They are gonna cram this awful sketch down our throats until one person finally laughs.

Is Nap. Dynamite the best they can get nowadays? Sad.

I think Melissa Etheridge sucks, but STILL find the comparion of Ashleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee to her an insult.

As for why they had that no-talent skank on the show...some of you guys watched, right?

"The Office" has pretty dreadful ratings, too, yet "Two and 1/2 Men" seems to be doing just fine.
