I need ideas for putting my tt near my stereo so it won't shake. My floors are suspended, so if I have the tt on anything, you can make the needle quiver just by walking around.

I just need a square box filled with cement, I think.

Thanks,

fp

Cut 2 tennis balls in half and put each 1/2 under each foot of the tt. And make sure the tracking force isn't set too light.

use anything that dampens vibration (seated on little sand-filled pylons for instance)

or for something a bit more drastic - bolt the platform that your tt sits on to the wall..they make commericial platforms for this, but given the price, you can easily construct one for much cheaper

There are these magnetically suspended bearings, but they're snake-oil expensive.
