My wife is a teacher.
She has today off.
She is happy to have the day with the kids -- goin' to the zoo.

The nice thing about working today is that one of my main clients likely has the day off so it means no new work from them. Other than that, it's as bad a day as any.

Oh yeah, in the office, after getting up at 5:30 to drive 167 mile home (door to door)

And I may have to turn around and drive all the way back to Birmingham, turn around and drive back to Mobile, then do the whole shebang over Wednesday and Friday.

Week's off to a great start.

You still NEED to go to the bank? Seriously, I haven't used a traditional bank in probably 10 years except to make car payments and that was only because it was easier to stop at the bank then remember to send in a check.

I had to get up early and take back 10 hire suits (from my brothers wedding) in the pouring rain while he jetted off to Mexico on honeymoon.

Then I had a Philosophy class at 10 am.

Now I'm analyising Oedipus Rex in such an extensively brilliant way that I will glean observations from it which none of the millions of people who have read it, including virtually all the great men of genius in the last 2,000 years, have failed to notice and comment upon.

Expect a B+, people.

I've got the direct debit for my car payment. I'm a sucker for auto-pay.

Me too.

Sorry about the hassle, Jen. One five-day-late payment should hurt you too badly, but I understand wanting to have everything take care of.

My wife is getting a small SUV late this month/early Nov and we're just buying the damn thing outright. Hate those freakin' payments.

That's f'd that the Jesuits don't give you kids the day off from class on Columbus Day/Dia de la Raza. Seriously... If not for Cristobal Colon, who would the Jesuits converted?

... And trying Moriscos at the Inquisition, and expelling the Judios, would have gotten old quickly, without anything to change it up.
