On Gorilla vs. Bear, they've got 2 of the 22 leaked tracks. There's a link to a page with the rest, but it looks like they've been taken down. Maybe someone can get ahold of these...? I haven't listened yet, but I'm pretty excited about this.

Bitchin'. Although some of those (No Name 6, Let's Get Lost) are not new songs... new arrangements?

not to mention the Big Star and Cat Stevens covers.. .

I found this from the mtv website

MTV Wrote:
"The 22 tracks are being circulated under the title From a Basement on the Hill II and are purported to be songs dropped from the LP. However, much of the material is believed to date from long before the album's sessions, some of it going back as far as the mid-'90s. Charlie Ramirez, Webmaster for the official Smith site SweetAdeline.net, says, "I think some of them might have been considered for Basement, but not necessarily."

The familiar songs (Let's Get Lost, No Name, etc.) sound like the rough versions of what was already released (like the counting-in and whatnot). "Either/Or" (the song) is great.

I don't know why Let's Get Lost, The Last Hour, or No Name #6 are on this - they're the same version as on previous releases. I guess NN6 was a B-Side, so maybe that makes sense, but not the others.
