Tear-n, totally unrelated to your topic, but I wish you had been with us last night -- Arctic Monkeys AND Pretty Dirty Things (yes, including Carl). You would'be been in seventh heaven. :)

one of my friends lives a block away from the 7th ave F line stop in brooklyn. she and 2 roommates have a nice apartment above a deli (how novel). it's in park slope near prospect park. she likes it a lot. the nice thing about that stop is that it's also on the express line.

Yup, Carl Libertine -- the whole band, actually. Might I add that Carl looked especially scrumptious? They're in town recording their new album. The Monkeys were fun, the crowd was VERY weird and hostile last night, though.

And I heard about you coming home! Yay! Joyce is planning a get-together - can't wait to see ya. :)

How was John "Cheekbones" Hassall? The crowd at mercury lounge was pretty cool, very tamed compared to the art brut crowd. there was some crazy mohawk guy there and i think he freaked out eddie argos.

yay!!! secret santa!!!

huh, your friend must be my best friend's neighbor- she lives on 5th ave right near that stop. park slope is a really nice area. i also really like carroll gardens, it's nice and hip and fun and all that, and there's an F train stop on carroll street.

Park Slope and Brooklyn Heights are getting expeeeeeensive. Buying has been ludicrous for about 5 years now, and the rental market is catching up.

What's your fascination with the F? Much better rents in Bay Ridge, and the commute to Manhattan isn't *that* much longer.
