So the last time I was in Toronto, I came across a bunch of Smiths cd's that were supposedly remastered. Each one was priced at about $26. Seeing as how I already own everything by them and their regular albums are usually $10 or 11, I didn't pick them up.

However, I can't find any information online at all about these. Nothing on Amazon, nothing through Rough Trade. So I'm starting to think I imagined this. But I'm pretty sure I wouldn't do something that ridiculous just to fuck with myself.

I'm a big Smiths fans but I've never heard of any remastered re-issues.

It will probably only be a matter of time though since their back catalogue has been flogged to death.

I wish someone would give me the original masters of these....so I could erase them.
