Thought I'd share with all of you. I've been making these 2-hours-or-more video tapes for my friend's holiday party since 1989 (celebrating 15 years!). It's funny because I was really not too excited about this year due to the fact that I was having a hard time finding things to use (You can't use just anything for this party, you know. Certain standards and programming sensibilities must be met!)
Thank God for the web; I located and converted about 8 more videos for songs I thought I'd have to use CD tracks for instead. Considering it's very rare for me to have 2 strong years in a row, I surprised even myself (and the party hosts).
The theme of this year's party was the "Big Bad Hair Ball." The opening Shrek bit is the hair ball moment in Shrek II that I just happened to locate while watching it with my mom on T-day.
BTW, thanks to those of you who replied to my previous post asking about video comps. What I didn't pick up this year I'll look into for next year. And if you ever see anything cool (online or elsewhere) please PM me about it....thanks!
