Nebraska is basically being embarassed now by Brad Smith and Mizzou, the score was 21-10 last time I saw it with :45 left in the first quarter.
The Huskers have one game where they get stomped each year since 2000. I'll be surprised if they keep it close or comeback and win. I knew I was too confident for this game

D.J. Shockley went down with a knee injury and is out for the rest of the game.

UGA is leading 17-7 at halftime.....I'm not worried about this game but Fucking Florida looms next week.

Nebraska ended up essentially getting blown out 41-24, after tying the game before the half. Nebraska had a shot at taking the lead in the 3rd, but turned the ball over three times. Mizzou scored 17pts in the 4th to blow the game open.
UGA is probably done, they barely beat Arkansas and may have lost DJ Shockley for the year with a knee injury.
Texas is taking care of Texas Tech right now 31-10.

The Huskers play host to OU next week, I would have been extremely confident about beating the Sooners handily if they had won today, but now they might have trouble winning another game.

I hope that he is sandbagging a bit for Florida, cos FUCK did we look bad without him. AND, he waited so long to play that he doesn't deserve his season (and our unbeaten season) ended like this.

We played like shit and had a TON of guys out with injuries even before Shockley went down. Once that happened, Richt just basically coached not to lose. Arkansas has been playing better and has played Auburn and Alabama super tight.

From ajc.com:
Quote:
Coach Mark Richt said he doesn't think Shockley will need surgery or miss the rest of the season, but the senior quarterback is doubtful for next Saturday's annual "Cocktail Party" game in Jacksonville, Fla.

"We're expecting to get him back this season," Richt said. "We just don't know when."

What was with that UNC-Virginia game. It ended a 7-5 Tarheel victory. If you love defense that would have been a sweet game, but for most people it would have sucked hardcore. I guess I would have rather had the Huskers win that way than give up 41.

My alma is off to it's best start in 14 years. If we miss a bowl bid because of the "I'll show George Ryan the meaning of corrupt" Big Ten refs, I'm gonna be pissed.

Holy shit. I feel asleep with MD trailing Florida State 14-0 and looking awful, then I wake up at half time and they are up 21-14 and just intercepted a pass at the FSU 30.

all the "friedgen's done a great job, and the coaching staff is great" blah blah blah is getting real old with all the losses in big games.

That has to be an NCAA rules infraction. I mean, Orton's already hired an agent for, what, almost a year?

NU proved me wrong yesterday...the previous three weeks they put up 600+ yards and their offense was just really fun to watch, I spoke too soon.

To be honest, it's not like I have seen any other teams besides the Big Ten teams and what is on national tv, so I haven't seen the Bruins play.
