I loved the first four seasons, and quite enjoyed the fifth. Its the only live action show I watch. however this last season has not interested me at all, to the point where I have not made time to see even one episode. How much worse is it from the fifth season?

i watch it occasionally and haven't been interested much this season either. the few episodes i've seen just aren't getting it done.

As they introduce new characters, and John Wells takes over for Aaron Sorkin, I fear Wells intends to keep the showing going even with a completely replaced cast (a la ER).

you haven't watched the new season?!?!?!?!?!?!?

how will you learn the fate of Donna?

what about the middle east crisis?

only another 14 more months and Bartlett's term is up!

The Bad - All the bad stuff is spoiler-ish, i don't want to get into it unless it's ok

The Good - The episode where Josh hits a hybrid car with a monster gas guzzling truck/suv thing was funny. great episode.
Will Bailey's character is getting more and more active. Jimmy Smits is kinda on the show now and he's really good.

Everything is all shaken up this season. it's different, but it's still good.

Will Bailey's character makes no sense at all. He works for the VP. Why is he always around?

Wells is going to have Smits and Alda run against each other and the show will keep going with the winner instead of Sheen.

They also skipped a year somewhere in here. Suddenly, it's the third year of his second term.

Is Alan Alda a regular, or was he just a guest? Seeing him in a commercial made me almost want to watch the show.

He actually hasn't shown up yet.

well, they might as well kill it off if they're going to have anything else like tonight's james taylor butchering of "a change is gonna come." i was hoping for maybe the sam cooke version as soundtracking, but that would've been too good.
