I wasn't going to post this here because there aren't many fans but I changed my mind and i'm still very happy, copy and paste:

I just got an e-mail where they have just released this news:

Also still to come are the answers to the many questions sent through the www.booradleys.co.uk Find The Way Out website, and we have further info and soundclips from sice's new band paper lung on the way too.

boo radleys & amp = paper lung

------

So considering that I'm one of the biggest Boo Radleys fans that there is I'm going completely out of my mind with this news. The Boo Radleys are 100% Martin Carr's band but his electronic stuff now as 'bravecaptain' comes nowhere close to anything he had done with his former guitar band. Sice did release a very good album in 1996 under the name Eggman but the Boos quickly followed that with yet another masterpiece called C'mon Kids and even I forgot about it for awhile. Since the Boos disband in 1999 Sice has been virtually gone from music. He did show up three times in 2004, twice for Meister and once on his old buddy's 'bravecaptain' album. When I heard him on last year's 'bravecaptain' record I was thinking music is being deprived of one of the best voices that there is today and maybe one day he will return. Today is a very good day.

BTW, Martin Carr is busy as well and has recorded a ten minute piece of music as a tribute to john peel which is available as a free download for ten days only, along with artwork which as always is created by bravecaptain himself.

new bravecaptain album from www.bravecaptain.co.uk :

the next bravecaptain album is also now complete and we will have sound clips and further info to follow. although the album is in the bag and sounding good there is the usual business of artwork and release schedule still to be organised, full details of which will be on the site as soon as we have them.

the tracklisting for the album is as follows:

1. whatever happened to the fingertip saint?
2. i don't know any better
3. punk rock
4. ocean
5. campaign
6. european man
7. it's what we make it
8. oh you
9. reason to escape
10. jerusalem

Sometimes I wonder if it'd be fun to give in to fanboyism and gush like this.

I just can't do it. Too much a stoic New Englander. Best I can do is something like "well it's about fucking time Kate Bush put something out, isn't it?"

So I also posted this on ILM and quite a few people said this and that. Demo’s showed up a few days later and I also posted about that. Today I looked at it again and I had the bass player from PaperLung responding to my post. This is the first time that I have ever been on the web that a member of a bigger band or one not connected to that particular web site has ever responded to a post that I have made on a message board. That is a pretty neat thing and I wish I could go to the gig. I’m also stoked about this PaperLung thing as it sounds like Eggman, which was a great, great album.

SICE - A STATEMENT

Okay, so I admit it. I'm an addict. I know that now. I've tried to stay away. God knows I've tried. I know all the reasons why I should give it up - it's bad for your health, it affects your family, it takes you away from your home.

I did quit for a while, but then The Captain called offering me a taste of the Good Life. It tasted so sweet. Felt so good. But I managed to silence the niggling little voice that whispered, "come on back, you know you want to."

Then a man from the Orient tempted me once more, and to my shame I succumbed. I was like Michael Corleone, forever trying to leave, only to be pulled back in.

I had thought I had kicked it for good.

But then, The Captain came again. Come see me, he said. And I did. I stood before him under the swirling lights, watching him weave his spell with only six strings and a sweet throat, causing smiles to grow and hearts to beat faster. I looked at the faces of those around me and I was lost.

I was back.
