sorry, I was late for work, because I stopped off at Starbucks and couldn't find a parking spot for my SUV. When my cell rang, I had to make a choice between swerving around you at top speed and taking the call.

I'm not going to stop riding my damn bike. I'm losing weight fer chrissakes, and not just the flesh that gets scraped off on the pavement. And I'm saving money on gas. And I like it, other than having been hit three times this school year. This last one was bad though.

So yeah, maybe I'm retarded. Oh well. Just got back from the bike shop and she's all fixed up.

Now off to the bank.

I've been commuting for 35 years and have only been hit once, and that was my fault. Course, I don't live in a big city, and folks around here are pretty tolerant of bikes, even though there aren't any.

No, actually he falls down, and takes the entire movie to pick hisself back up again. But by the time he does, you're so relieved that he does, that you actually cheer for him.

Seriously. Dizziness post-injury is your brain letting you know something is up and time to pay attention.

Dizziness is subsided, but left hand is still numb. I follow the rules of the road, i stick to the bike lanes, but there are a combination of people who don't pay attention, and people who have a chip on their shoulders towards bikers.

Yeah, i'm geared up. No scrapes, just bruises. Yay for gore-tex!
