I saw the "Willy Wonka"-type episode. It wasn't half bad...

That's the one I saw as well (and the two other segments shown with it) and I was unimpressed.

I'm a big fan, so I watched the premiere. It was cute, but not something I'd go outta my way to watch on a regular basis. I wish the actual girls were in the show more.

Don't they do the "Teen Titans" theme from the Cartoon Network show? I like that.

Shameful name-drop: I met/worked with/kissed Puffy at a 'Pocari Sweat' commercial shoot in Tokyo. Pocari Sweat is a vile sport beverage reknowned for curing the common hangover. I had a small part chaperoning the ladies down a red carpet to some glitzy party - I had to plant kisses on their cheeks, before turning to the camera to say "Pocari Sweat wa umai desu!" Paid the equivalent of $800 for two hours of work.

They're cute, talent-less & damn-near approaching pygmy height. Seriously, those two could comfortably ride Shetland ponies.

Yeah...as much as I like 'em, they're definitely a "don't pay any attention to the man behind the curtain" act.

interesting fact courtesy of miss bluestar*. andy sturmer (ex-jellyfish) makes his living these days doing two things: 1) writing burger king jingles and 2) writing puffy amiyumi's songs.

i have to say, after hearing some of their music i really want to get some of their albums.

There's a good compilation called "An Illustrated History" ( or something like that ) on Bar None Records. Aside from that, only a couple of their albums have been released in the US. There's also a new soundtrack/best of CD that I think is named after the TV show.

Now, someone should give Guitar Wolf a kiddie cartoon show. THAT would blow some young minds.
