Just reread three books in preparation for hopefully reading something new (priming the pump of literacy, if you will)

The Cold Six Thousand - James Ellroy
The Odds - Chad Millman
Sex, Drugs and Cocoa Puffs - Chuck Klosterman (i think I laughed harder the second time around)

I'm actually considering another reread: Lonesome Dove, but my copy is paperback and it looks like a little brick.

"The Paranoid Style in American Politics" by Richard Hofstadter.

Granted, it's an essay, so the right now part is pretty literal.

Read "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time" and "I am Charlotte Simmons" during vacation. Finishing up a bio on Benjamin Franklin. Have "The Tender Bar" and "If Andy Warhol Had a Girlfriend" waiting in the on deck circle.
