Which is fine, I guess.

What's weird is that I took the opportunity to look up his stats.

How did I not know that this guy played for the '86 Mets? I bet I could name 12-15 players on that team (per Crack's man test) but not Roger. Hmph.

He will take up residence in ALTO as soon as he hits town.

I knew this. He came in in the 8th during Game 6. What's more shocking, is on the Red Sox roster that year: Tom Seaver.

Dave Dravecky would have been a better choice.

For example, nothing like pulling up the boxscore of Game 1 of the 1986 World Series so easily.

Tough day for Ron Darling. 7 innings, 1 unearned run, 8 strikeouts, and takes the loss

Then Dravecky could work his way up to Manager.

And here comes Dave Dravecky, looks like the starter is done for the day and they will bring out a righty again.

Stuck on You would have been a lot more interesting if they would have gotten Abbott and Dravecky to play instead of Greg Kinnear and Matt Damon.

I don't know what kind of coach he'll be, but he was big part of the Mets success when he was with them. In general, I trusted him more than Orosco....even if Orosco was the one that nailed the playoffs and WS.

In his younger days, definitely a guy that liked to have fun.
