I was in a record shop today and I was surprised to see a new album by Bonnie Prince Billy on the new release rack. I hadn't heard anything about it here or else where.

What's the deal? Is it any good? Normally I'd just buy it on sight but there are a lot of albums around right now I'd like and cash is limited.

He's got a live album coming out here on the 15th, but you're far away, so I have no idea if it's out early there or if it's something else out late there.

Yeah, I just looked it up on Amazon. It's the live album Summer In The South East.

I thought it was a new studio album since it doesn't actually say anything about it being a live album on the front cover.

I think the record was plugged earlier this morning on NPR. I caught the tail-end of some BPB 'new' record talk.
