The Weather Man.

Michael Caine has some choice monologues. Namely, when discussing his grand-daughter's unfortunate body shape. (Minor spoiler.)

Stay is the only one I've seen of the three, and I'd recommend.

Yeah, in general the reviews for "Stay" are pretty bad, but I usually have similar tastes to Peter Travers (of the dreaded Rolling Stone) and he liked it. He said some would call it "arty and pretentious" while he calls it "arty and provocative". I'm leaning towards "Stay" despite the reviews.

see stay, and then PM pumachik to explain it all to you.

seriously though, set aside a few hours after the movie to just sit and think about it.

Saw North Country a while back. Not a bad movie at all.

Saw Capote this past weekend. Great Movie. Phyllip Seymour what's his name (Hoffman?) should be up for an Oscar.

I want to see Shopgirl too. Mainly because I have always had a thing for Claire Danes (not because of My So Called Life either).

i saw shopgirl this weekend. i was a little skeptical, but i have to say i really enjoyed it. some interesting questions raised about class and age but still pretty funny throughout. plus, you get to see claire danes ass, which is never a bad thing.

...anyway, me and my friend saw North County and she said it was like a Lifetime Movie with a Hollywood budget. I thought it was pretty good, but if you're kind of averse to those type of films, then try one of the other two (which I haven't seen.)

I know very little about most of these movies. I should pick up a magazine or something.
