Hey speaking of, are they any good? Some friends just opened for them near DC last weekend.

I'm not the massive fan that a couple others are here, but yeah, they've always held to a kick-ass, stomp-yr-gut primacy that remains awesome.

Hmm. The friends are an irish rock band, not awfully edgy. Good fit?

If they're in the Shane MacGowan mode of Irish rock, yeah. U2 mode, no. Fleshtones are 30 years into being one of the most consistent, funny and sleazy garage rockers of all time.

Definately huge McGowan / Pogues fans. I haven't asked how the show went, and now I'm curious.

Oh no, I'm in awe.

Especially since I've been noticing my own complete and utter lack of music related posts. It has inspired me to try a little harder now.

Well, then again, I'm now only just under six hundred posts to catch up with you. The distance was much further not too long ago.

Yeah, school eats up an annoyingly large amount of quality Obner time.
