So like I had said a few weeks ago, I had gotten my first jury duty notice from the county and I had written them a letter asking to get excused (i have final exams and stuff the week they called me for). So I got a note back yesterday saying that I was officially excused, which is good. Today however, I got a letter from the next county over saying that I am being summoned for jury duty for that county. Good God, this may never end. Now I have to write them a note saying I don't even live there. ergh.

wow, you Illini jurists are livin large...it's only like 7 or 8 bucks a day around here

and parking at the court house is $5 a day

Why would you want to (get out of jury duty)? Wouldn't you love to pull the switch on some shameless murderer/rapist/child pornographer/whathaveyou?
