They're from Texas.

I got a tip that they were good and they in fact, are.

RIYL: Modern indie pop, Polyphonic Spree, Jellyfish, experimentalism with nice harmonies.

Their recently released album, "Water Spheres" will probably make my top ten list for this year. Go to the website below for some free downloads: I recommend the song, "Caught In My Trap". It is brilliant.

Saw them open for Eisley last June.

They do sound a bit like the P-Spree, tha's the only thing I remember. Must check them out again.

I saw them open for Spree last year in NYC. Good show. I bought their self-released disc ('iter facere') that they were shilling. Decent stuff, but they needed to get some more experience under their feet. Real young kids.

At the time they were similar enough to Spree to work on the bill, but a little more proggy. There were a couple of songs that had a ton of overcomplicated time signatures and stuff like that.

Definitely good, but not yet great.

Yeah, there are some orchestral arrangements in their songs as well that are nice. I didn't know they had an earlier album out. They must have really improved since then.

Half the songs on the first disc are on this new one that was mentioned above. I don't know if they're the same versions or if they re-recorded em.

The pisser with the orchestral arrangements is that they're just keyboards - or at least they were live.

Hopefully they get some more success and get a chance to really roadtest their stuff. They seriously have potential.

I really liked the samples -- on my wishlist. Thanks for bringing it up!
