My usual collection of promo CDs, girl group compilations, things I never wanted to pay full price for, experimental music that I know nothing about but which sounded interesting from the instrumental lineup, why-not-it's-only-$5 and other random crap. Bliss.

Case, Neko - Blacklisted
Coral, The - Magic And Medicine/Nightfreak And The Sons Of Becker
Doe, John - Forever Hasn't Happened Yet
Eckardt, Jason - Out Of Chaos

Laddio Bolocko - Life And Times Of Laddio Bolocko, The

Mitchell, Joni - Court And Spark (Remastered)
Now It's Overhead - Fall Back Open

Various Artists - Girls With Guitars
Various Artists - Lonely Is An Eyesore (4AD comp replacing the one that got stolen years ago)
Various Artists - State Of The Union 2.001 - 171 Artists, 171 Minutes
Various Artists - Weird N.J. - Local Heroes, Villains And Artists
Various Artists - Wig In A Box - Songs From And Inspired By Hedwig And The Angry Inch

Walked in with something like $270 in cash--walked out with $6, 35 CDs and that post-orgasmic dopey smile on my face. Then I went uptown and had chocolate fondue.

Fuuny, I'm listening to The Ride right now.
Always have been a fan of Los Lobos.

Looks like you've got some good albums. At least interesting!

I've got the unedited version of this recording - a limited release called "222".

His bit about going to the steakhouse is one of the funniest fuckin' things I've ever heard.

An interesting mix of stuff I would like to hear. Very eclectic.

What does OOIOO sound like?

That was the first thing I listened to when I got home. (Of course, it was 11pm, so I wasn't about to put on Orthrelm.) On one listen, it will certainly help make up for Harold Budd retiring.

I've wanted to pick this up for a while, but that clip you posted a few days back made me specifically hope to find it at the Record Fair.

Dorothy L. Williams
Uncle Floyd (!)
Dan Paterno

Chris T. & Chris Butler
The High School Sweethearts

I have no idea! It's a Boredoms offshoot and it sounded interesting from some description I read somewhere (thought it was here but I can't find the thread).

Nice pickup. I just heard this a few weeks ago and was blown away by it on first listen. Ish seemed to like it as well.
